市役所で寝泊まりしているうちに沢山のトルコ人とお友達になりました。
会うたびに手を左胸に当てポンポンと2回叩きます。敬意を込めてありがとうという事を表現しているそうです。私はお礼に胸の前で両手を合わせます。言葉が通じなくても心は通じます。
While I was staying at the city hall, I became friends with many Turkish people.
Every time I meet, put ther hand on left chest and clap twice. It is a way of saying thank you with respect. I put my hands together in front of my chest in gratitude. Even if you don’t understand the language, you can understand the heart.
