April 29 to May 1, our advisor, Kazuhiro Fujiwara and, a writer, Mariko Hayashi joined us. Tachibana-san and Yamamoto-san, who have been distributing cakes and cookies to the evacuation shelter, as well as Hosono-san, a director at NHK, joined and we all delivered the relief supplies. Children nearby gathered for the workshop and we had wonderful time drawing. At the temporary shelter at Minato elementary school at Ishinomaki city where 260 people are evacuating, there were children that drew character like “Kokoro (heart)”, or a word, “Arigato(thank you). After the earthquake, it seems like people thought more about the relationship and kindness with each other.
