March 19 to 21, Kids Earth Car entered the devastated area for the first time, just a week after the earthquake. We visited the evacuation shelter located in Watari-cho town hall in Watari-cho, Watari-gun, Miyagi. At that time, four people had to share one rice ball. So when we delivered food, people appreciated and said, “We have not had proper dinner for a week.” Seeing the actual situation of the site, we understood what exactly is in need at the devastated areas.
