On July 27, Kids Earth Fund had the wonderful opportunity to host an art workshop at Jikei University Children’s Ward. One of the pieces of art drawn by a participant displays the heavy rain and a falling heart. “I want to quickly get discharged from the hospital and eat delicious food!” this artist said to herself as she drew.
This experience of painting and drawing during this workshop gave the children who had been admitted into the hospital for an extended period of time an exciting opportunity to express their creativity and have fun. This was a huge hit with the children and many even skipped their snack time to continue drawing!
