In Mashiki-cho temporary housing complex in Kuramoto Prefecture, a kite-making art workshop was held. Despite coverage concerning Kumamoto Prefecture’s reconstruction having lessened, it seems there are still many people living in temporary housing, with 220 households in Kiyama temporary housing complex, and about 600 techno temporary households. People living in the temporary housing complex stated that many residents are waiting for housing reconstruction to be completed in March next year. 3 years have passed since the occurrence of the Kumamoto earthquake, and a flower altar is set up at the Mashiki-cho Kuramoto Prefecture Information Center Mina Terrace, and we visited after the workshop to commemorate the victims.
The Kids Earth Foundation will continue to convey the importance of new experiences and expressions to children through art.
