Hokkaido earthquake support, DAY 1: Kids Earth Fund is currently in Hokkaido to support children. We held an art workshop in Kiyota ward gymnasium where it’s opened as evacuation center. Day by day evacuation centers around Kiyota ward is closing. However, due to massive cave in at a road and liquefaction, there are many families that cannot go back home. This area is very close to downtown. There are more than 80 houses that are in dangerous state.
Even in this situation, children were filled with energy and thoroughly enjoyed drawing.
